Tuesday was a big day for the California-based tech giant. In addition to the new iPhone 7 color, the company also confirmed that it will be releasing cheaper iPads, add new accessories to existing product lines, and also new updates for the iPhone SE to give their users an even better experience. Launch of New iPads
If you are one of the people who has been looking to own an iPad, then you are in luck. The company announced that it is planning to launch a series of new iPads that would come to market in a few months time. But, that was not all. The varieties were even better. According to these recent announcements, you can now buy a new iPad Mini, or if you want the new 9.7-inch iPad. There is also the iPad Pro in 9.7-inch or 12.9-inch varieties which are expected to become very popular among users. The new 9.7-inch iPad will come with added features.
It will actually be thicker compared to the iPad Air even though the cases for both devices are just about the same sizes. What makes this a great deal is that the new 9.7-inch iPad will cost less compared to iPad Air. The iPad is also going to be powered by A9 chip that is also present in iPhone 6S devices. However, the device will lack some of the features available in the iPad Pro including the stereo speakers and true tone displays.
The iPhone 7 Special Edition
Apple also confirmed that it will launch a red colored iPhone 7s. The phone will, however, be available only in 128GB and 256GB options. The only difference between this phone and the original iPhone 7 is the color change. Buying the new phone will also serve a greater course with a portion of the money going to HIV/AIDS prevention.
iPhone SE Improvements
Apple also confirmed it has abandoned the 16GB and 64GB models for the iPhone SE in favor of more powerful 32GB and 128GB versions. The cost of the phones will range in between $399 and $500.
Clips App
There was also the launch of a new app called Clips. This is basically a mix of iMovie and Snapchat. You can use it to create short videos and even take photos.
